Programs available at universities
Graduate studies are free in Poland for polish citizens as well as international students who study on the same terms as polish citizens, such as holders of permanent residence permit. Other international students as well as student of most private held schools are required to pay tuition fees that vary from PLN 2,000 to 6,000 per semester (up to PLN 35,000 for an MBA). Costs of living in Poland may vary depending on a city where you study. Students from abroad usually receive placement in dormitories, although it is not a rule. Their prices may vary from PLN 350 ? 600 per month. Shared flats are usually more expensive. Transportation costs PLN 50-80 monthly and a lunch PLN 9-15.
The first step to study in Poland is to apply for studies and look for programs available for the Ukrainians at your selected university. You should check their official website, write or phone their information to inquire about possibilities for financing of your studies that they offer. Many polish universities have bilateral agreements with ukrainian partners. For instance, University of Warsaw cooperates with: Kievskij Nacionalnyj Universitet im. Sevcenko, Lvovskij Nacionalnyj Universitet im. I. Franki, Prikarpatskij Universitet im.Vasyla Stefanyka, Nacionalnyj Universitet ?Kievo-Mohilanska Akademia?, Chernioveckij Nacionalnyj Universitet im. J.Fedkovicha, Dniepropietrovskij Nacionalnyj Universitet ? Kafiedra Politologii, Lvovskij Nacionalnyj Universitet im. I. Franki - Botanicheskij Sad
It is recommended that students with financial difficulties request university authorities to reduce or waive their tuition. It is the simplest and one of most effective ways of reducing financial burden.
