The Lane Kirkland Scholarship

The purpose of this Polish-American Freedom Foundation?s scholarship is to share Polish experiences in economic, social and political transformations, within two-semester post-graduate program for MA holders. Its recipients will study at a leading polish universities and complete a 2-4 week professional internship. Candidates for this program have to have at least 2-year professional experience and may not have studied in Poland before. Successful candidates will receive PLN 1,700 monthly for nine months, as well as coverage of housing, insurance, and travel expenses to and from Poland as well as additional financial support for educational materials including electronic equipment.

From 2000 to 2008 there were 324 participants of this program, from which 161 were Ukrainians.
